Prayer

Since this month's Relief Society message is on prayer and since I had a good experience with prayer I thought that I would share it. Whenever Adam and I start to get stressed we lose our keys. When we were engaged and getting ready to be married we were both constantly searching for our keys. We each locked our keys in the car multiple times in the months leading up to our marriage. We each found our keys still in the door or in the refrigerator. It is a very frusterating manifestation of stress. Now that we are preparing to move we are experiencing this same level of 'key losing' stress. Adam lost his keys on Saturday. We searched all Saturday and found nothing. On Sunday Adam had to come back home after his early morning meeting to get me for church. We scoured the house on Sunday and still came up empty handed. After sincere and fervent prayer to Heavenly Father on Sunday night asking for his help to find the keys to Adam's car we searched again. Still nothing. I got up early on Monday and searched all morning. Nothing. I still had faith that we would find them. That afternoon I called Michaels Keys to see how much a replacement key would cost. $102.97 for just the key, another $95 for the remote. Yikes! Adam and I decided to continue to pray and excerise our faith in Heavenly Father. I loaded up the girls (Ivy and Sara were visiting) and turned the van on. I happened to glance in the side compartment on my door and there on top of everything were the keys! I was so grateful to Heavenly Father that we pulled over and said a prayer of thanks. I believe that Heavenly Father enabled us to find Adam's keys. I have had this similar experience over and over and over again. Heavenly Father is willing and able to help us if we will pray and exercise faith in him.

Cute Abby

On Friday morning Abby was looking intently at the clock. When the second hand got to the top and continued going abby exclaimed "Ohh Clock! grrrr". When I asked her what was wrong she said she was waiting for the clock to switch directions.

Our New Place

So far the house has passed inspection and since we are going with an FHA loan it now has to pass an FHA appraisal. But here are some pictures of our tudor/colonial home. It has three bedrooms, 1 1/2baths, a basement and a big yard.

Lime Ricki Swimsuit

Recently I purchased a swimsuit from www.Limericki.com They specialize in creating modest swimsuits. They have both tankini's and one-piece swimsuits. I had some concerns about orderind a swimsuit onine. First, would it fit right? Second, how much more was the total price going to be after shipping? and Third, would it be a good quality swimsuit.
I was concerned about finding the right size because they are sold in XS S M L XL. However they have an online guide that they use to determine which size you are. It goes by dress size and I found that my size was accurate. However, if you are unsatisfied by the size you can return it or exchange it for free (so long as you don't pull of the "hygenic tape").
Because I just bought a house(! Another post in and of itself) and my husband is going into school I shopped the clearance section. I found that their swimsuits are priced the same as a department store. I was able to use a coupon code that I found at orgjunkie.com - ONMYPERCH and that saved me both 10% and free shipping. So my total price was $22.50. My swimsuit arrived just 2 days after it was ordered.
You can never tell online if what you are buying is of good quality. Lime Ricki said that their swimsuits were fully lined and had good upper support. When I tried on my swimsuit I was pleasantly suprised by the support of this swimsuit. I really need something to reign in my post-baby body and the full lining/upper support lived up to its promise.
So to all of you who are swimsuit shopping I would recommend checking out www.limericki.com and using the coupon code ONMYPERCH

Josh's Teeth

Last Thursday (almost a week ago) Josh's teeth permanently erupted. They had been up and down for a couple of weeks causing him all sorts of pain. But I am certain that they are up for sure now. He got both of his bottom teeth at the same time. Either that or it is just one giant tooth. Consequently he has started his first repetitive babble. I hear t-t-t-t-t all day and think that it is adorable. What a fun little guy. He is so happy and sweet. I love my little Josh.

Teresa and Larry's

When we went to Sea World we stayed with Larry and Teresa. They were excellent hosts and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. Here are some pictures.

Sea World

Last weekend Adam and I took a little trip. We really really really needed to get away. We called Larry and Teresa to see if we could stay with them while we went to Sea World. They very graciously accepted. So we hauled our children and stuff down to Austin and stayed the weekend. It was fabulous. On Saturday we went to Sea World. When we first got there it was raining. But then it slowed to a drizzle and we began to have more fun. First we saw the Sea Lions and the Sea Lion Caper. Next we saw Shamu and the 'Believe' show. It was really fun. We only took video of that and I haven't isolated any pictures from it yet. It will have to wait. Finally we saw the Beluga whale and Acrobats perform. When we were done with all of the shows we headed over to the Dolphin Tank where we fed the dolphins. After this the kids were tired and cranky. We saw the sharks and the manta rays. We took pictures but I will post them another time.
