Cell Phone Update

Dear Friends and Family,

You have probably cast my cell phone number from your phone lists and minds. However this blog is here to announce to you that I FINALLY bought a car charger and will now be able to turn on my phone and thus answer it.

love,
Elizabeth

Abby's Texas Party

A few days before we left for Texas we had a Texas-themed shin dig with some of our friends and family. It was great! We had a really good show up which meant a whole lot to us. We made bags, blue bonnets and Texas themed fridge magnets. It was really great and I think that everyone had fun.

Ohio and Josh walking.

We are here in Ohio and are very excited to be living in OUR own house! So far nothing major has broken. Yay! Since I last blogged so much has happened. We have moved, visited Indiana and Josh has turned 9 months old.

On the Sunday before we left (July 12?) Josh took his first steps. Everyone saw him do it on Sunday, except me. On Monday however late at night I watched my tiny baby walk from the couch in Grandma and Grandpa's house to Abby (who was by the bookshelf). He promptly took a handful of that beautiful curly hair and made his sister squeal. I would like to say that this is an isolated incident but it seems that Josh is highly motivated by Abby's hair.

Although our efforts and energies have been dedicated to unpacking I have not yet found my cell phone charger. If you did not receive an email with my new info you can leave a comment and I will email to you.

More to come soon...

Fear

Because our little family is going through so many big changes, that can feel really scary I have been thinking about my life up to this point. One of the big things I would tell myself is to be less fearful and trust Heavenly Father more. I once heard that you should always have one foot in the dark, trusting Heavenly Father to lead you along. I feel like that right now. Moving, having a baby, starting a new school are all really big on their own but throw them all together, it's a lot.
This last weekend Daddy biffed it on his bike. He could be scared but in the ER while the doctor was looking at what we all thought was a broken shoulder he kept saying that he loved to ride his bike and that he was going to do it again regardless of what they told him. I have no doubt that in a month or two he will be back on it even if his should still hurts him. I guess I needed to see something like that to help me overcome some of my fear. Watching what happens when we fall gives me the courage to take the risk.
